Pennsauken delivery truck driver, Ruben Rodriguez, was found not guilty after he was accused of fatally hitting 22-year-old Justin Bellini on March 9, 2013 with his Cream-O-Land Dairy delivery truck. The jury reached their verdict after only two hours of deliberations. South Jersey criminal lawyer, Robert Agre, of Haddonfield’s Law Offices of Agre & St. John represented the defendant in the case.
Rodriguez’ first trial ended in a mistrial after the jury remained deadlocked after nine hours of deliberations. According to defense attorney, Robert Agre, not only did the state fail to prove key elements of the case, it also did not prove that the delivery truck was connected to the accident or that Rodriguez was aware that he had been involved in an accident. According to Attorney Agre, the jury reached the right verdict.
